4-H Camp

 

 2016 4-H CAMP DATES = JUNE 6 - 10, 2016

Camper/ Parent Orientation - Monday, May 16th at 6 PM OR Monday May 23rd at 3:30 PM

IMPORTANT - We will be signing up for classes at camper orientation. 

 

Camp Classes

Boating/Canoeing: Participants take a pontoon ride or canoe on beautiful Lake Cumberland

Fishing: Basic fishing all equipment provided

Archery: Participants learn to use a bow and arrow.  Waiver must be signed to participate.

High Ropes: Rock climbing wall and zip line.  Waiver must be signed to participate.

Low Ropes: Learn to work as a team on a variety of low rope elements.

Sports/Ga-Ga Ball: Various organized sports such as Ga-ga ball, basketball, flag football, soccer, frisbee etc.

Nature/Caving: An introduction to the local natural enviroment and get to explore an on-site cave.

Recreation: Dances, skits. and games.

Swimming: Free swim time in the pool.

Art: Learn to make a completed art project using rocks.

Backyard Beetles: Be a part of a real world science project and learn about insects and forest health.

Rockets: Learn how to make and launch using a pop bottle.
